Egypt’s Wearable Heritage is a collection of articles on crafts and objects from Egypt and the West-Asian and North African region. This book combines previously published articles in an edited form. Jolanda Bos has been travelling to Egypt for over 25 years as an archaeologist. She has combined her personal interest and love for people and culture, with her profession as an archaeologist. This has resulted in this special, and richly illustrated book on wearable heritage. It contains stories about costumes, beliefs, economy, socio-cultural phenomena and, of course, the people who live there and shows the absolute love for Egypt and its contemporary culture.
