Dr. André J. Veldmeijer, Visiting Research Scholar of the American University in Cairo, has worked as an archaeologist in Egypt since 1995. He specialized in, among other things, leatherwork and footwear. This book shows all panels of the sucessful exhibition 'Stepping Through Time' and more unique images of ancient Egyptian sandals and shoes.
